Getting old

I can't believe that I said "Hymns can be very powerful" to Hubby today.

10-15 yrs ago I would've scoffed at being "forced" to sing old-fashioned hymns.

Nowadays I whistle/hum songs like Crown Him with Many Crowns... Because the words do mean so much more.

Of course I still do like contemporary worship songs. Just not the loud and noisy ones that the youths seem to prefer nowadays. 

I sound like an auntie and I don't care. Blpth.
